Donna Alston

Donna
Alston joined Aqua Pennsylvania, formerly Philadelphia Suburban Water
Company, in May 1993 as Director, Communications and was promoted
to the position of Manager, Communications in 2000. Alston joined
Aqua Pennsylvania after leaving the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation
Authority (SEPTA) where she worked in public relations for almost
eight years, most recently as senior press officer. Prior to her employment
with SEPTA, Alston worked three years at KYW-TV—when it was
the NBC affiliate—as a newsroom production assistant and assistant
assignment editor.
Alston earned a B.A. in communications and an M.A. in African American
Studies from Temple University. |

She is also a graduate of the Philadelphia Urban
League's Leadership Institute.
Alston is an at large director of the Philadelphia
Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, and a member
of the Black Public Relations Society, Philadelphia Chapter.
