Karen
Friedman is an award winning television news reporter whose training
techniques have won praise from some of the most respected names in
the business world. As president of Karen Friedman Enterprises, Inc.,
she has prepared scores of spokespeople for national television and
print interviews including Good Morning America, the Today Show, NPR,
CNN, the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, The View, Entertainment
Tonight, The Donahue Show and others.
From product launches to recalls, initial public offerings, political
campaigns and headline news stories, Karen and her teams help people

offered at the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and has
coached celebrities such as golfer Jack Nicklaus. Her unique expertise
in message and issue development was recognized when a U.S. delegation
led by former First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton tapped Karen to
provide media and political training for women in South and Central
America. She is also a former political candidate who shares her
insight worldwide, recently returning from Romania.
Atough interviewer and investigator for
top rated major market television stations WPVI-TV Philadelphia,
WITI-TV Milwaukee and WAFF- TV Huntsville, Karen’s breaking
coverage of local and national events over the past twenty years
has aired on ABC, NBC, CBS and the CNN networks. She taught journalism
at the University of Wisconsin and continues to guest lecture at
colleges and universities such as the University of Pennsylvania’s
Wharton School, the Pennsylvania State University and Temple University.
Karen is frequent keynote speaker at conferences and industry meetings.
She is often quoted by national publications such as Selling Power,
PR Tactics and the Wall Street Journal On Line and has published
dozens of articles. Karen serves on the Board of Directors for Southeastern
Pennsylvania’s American Red Cross, the Leadership Council
of the Pennsylvania Economy League and is an active member of numerous
professional organizations including the National Association of
Women Business Owners, The Forum of Executive Women and the National
Speakers Association.
She received her journalism degree at the Pennsylvania State University
studied foreign affairs at the University of Manchester, England.
She resides in the Philadelphia area with her husband and two sons.
