Nancy is a partner in Dorland Global and
sits on the executive committee of the company.
Nancy is also active
in the public relations community globally, nationally and regionally.
Dorland is a member of Public Relations Organisation International
(PROI), the world’s
oldest network of independent agencies. More than 40 agencies
in the Americas, Europe and Asia participate in PROI. Nancy is
a VP of the organization and also founded and chairs the healthcare
sector of PROI, which has more than a dozen member agencies.
Nancy
is on the board of the PRSA Health Academy and chairs the Academy’s
Marketing Committee. In addition, Nancy has been a member of the
Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA)
for more than a decade. She has previously chaired the public relations
committee and in 2003 was named an HBA “Rising Star”.
Locally,
Nancy is on the board of the Public Relations Society of America.
In 2003, Nancy founded the Philadelphia PRSA Agency Leadership
Council, a first-of-its-kind forum for agency presidents and
general managers to meet on a regular basis to share best practices,
and to promote the use of Philadelphia PR firms by area Fortune
1000 companies.
Nancy regularly speaks on public relations issues,
and is a visiting professor at Lehigh University.
Nancy resides in Medford and Cape May, New Jersey
with her husband Andy and teenage children, Ethan and Maggie. She
has a B.A. from the University of Virginia.
