Scott is President of Tattar Richards—DBC,
the public relations division of Diccicco Battista Communications.
He is one of the region's most recognized and respected PR professionals.
Scott has gained media relations, product publicity, corporate affairs
and crisis/issues management experience from work with such clients
as Philadelphia Suburban Corporation, Airgas, DuPont, Pfizer, Hitachi,
The EuroTunnel, The Philadelphia International Auto Show and The
Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. He is responsible for the
growth and overall operation of Tattar Richards—DBC.
Scott's background includes senior management
positions at Ketchum Public Relations and Dudnyk Public Relations.

He has spearheaded Tattar Richards—DBC’s
growth into one of the top PR firms in the Philadelphia area. As
a media trainer, he has prepared hundreds of executives for media
interviews.
Scott was appointed to Philadelphia Mayor John Street’s PR
Task Force in 2000 and serves on the board of directors of the Public
Relations Society of America (Philadelphia Chapter). He began his
career as an editor at Chilton's Motor Age magazine and as a reporter
at the York Daily Record.
Scott earned his B.A. in English from York College
of Pennsylvania, where he was a four-year varsity soccer player.
He furthered his education with graduate studies in English at Villanova
University. He is a regular lecturer on the practice of public relations
and business writing at Temple University and Drexel University.
He continues to hone his writing craft as a contributing writer
to national and local business publications.
Scott’s philanthropic endeavors include
work for The Philadelphia Food Bank, The Philadelphia Recreation
Department, The American Heart Association, The Children’s
Hospital of Philadelphia and the Children’s Scholarship Fund.
