PRSA Diversity Podcast Series Launched 08/23/2008
Dear PRSA Leaders and Members,
Achieving diversity in the workplace is a key corporate responsibility. Yet, it’s often a goal that can be elusive, if not vague. How can you explore what winning strategies and tactics are being engaged by colleagues and competitors? Do you wonder about related opportunities and challenges your organization or clients may face?
PRSA is excited to announce the second installment of the “PRSA Diversity Today” podcast series, “Best Corporate Practices in Diversity,” which aired on August 18. This podcast addresses these important questions, spotlighting best corporate diversity practices, and takes a detailed look at those issues with leading industry experts. Margaret Regan, president and CEO of The FutureWork Institute, covers diversity strategies and tactics at a macro and micro level. Applica Consumer Products President and General Manager Evanghela Hidalgo provides unique insights on customer product choices, specifically in the international and cultural realms. Leading philanthropist and banker Adrienne Arsht, chairman emerita of TotalBank, lends her expertise on best practices in mentoring and leadership gained from her 11 years of experience as chairman of the board.
The podcast is available on WebmasterRadio.FM and the “PRSA Diversity Today” site. PRSA’s diversity site also enables members to view show notes, subscribe to the show, provide listener feedback and get information about future programs. Members can listen to the show online or download for future use through iTunes.
