Accreditation Update
The Universal Accreditation Board of PRSA has recently revised the APR exam. Now candidates prepare a readiness review document that allows them to present a campaign they've worked on and its success. This document is sent in advance to three oral examiners (accredited members of PRSA in good standing). At a scheduled review meeting, the candidate discusses the prepared document and a portfolio he/she has developed. This "oral exam" is paired with a written exam that is now taken a local testing center.

The exam is open to practitioners who have at least five years of paid, full-time experience in the professional practice of public relations, or in the teaching or administration of public relations courses in an accredited college or university.

For more information on Accreditation and how to get accredited, contact Suzanne Fitzgerald, sparks@rowan.edu.

The Philadelphia Chapter PRSA in conjunction with the Business Wire provides the E-LINK. If you would like to submit any member news or be involved, please contact Scott Tattar at stattar@dbcommunications.net.
