PRSA Philadelphia Membership
Why Should I Become a Member?
If you believe, as we do, that ongoing education as a professional
is important, then you should become a member of the Philadelphia
Chapter of PRSA. We offer informative
programs every month on topics relating to public relations, as
well as organize media panels to introduce our members to key journalists.
We organize an annual awards program to allow for increased recognition
of your work. We also host local networking and social events to
help you expand your circle of contacts. Our Job Bank newsletter
can alert you to new job opportunities. Our chapter exists because
our members believe in the importance of a local forum for public
relations professionals. For a list of 50
reasons to become a member, click

How Do I Become A Member?
PRSA is
a national society with local chapters across the United States.
In order to become a member of the Philadelphia Chapter of
PRSA, you must become (or already be) a
member of the National PRSA. You can belong to more than one local
chapter.
Application for membership and dues payments
for National PRSA and the Philadelphia Chapter are handled by
the National PRSA organization. You can join on-line or download
a membership
application. If you would like someone to mail you a membership
application, please call 212.460.1400 or e-mail membership@prsa.org.
If you would like to speak to someone at the local chapter about
membership, please contact our membership chair, Molly H. Wilson,
Tierney Communications, at
mowilson@tierneyagency.com or
call Molly at
215-790-4361
The National PRSA organization will notify us
when you have joined our chapter. At that point, you will begin
receiving information on upcoming meetings and events. If you need
to check your membership status for the Philadelphia Chapter, please
contact our Chapter Administrator Chris Stewart at 215.295.0729
or ccstewart@comcast.net.
