At-Home APR Training for the Pros

PR Institute 2011

April 20 - June 6

Sponsored by:

This advanced training program provides up-and-coming PR pros with a unique opportunity to learn from leading practitioners in the region, gain hands-on planning experience, and network with course professors and industry colleagues.

Over six weeks, participants compete on mock agency teams to create and pitch an integrated communications proposal to a real-life client. Past clients include PricewaterhouseCoopers, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Toll Brothers and currently, Great Guys Group. Participants attend weekly, two-hour educational sessions taught by leading industry practitioners on topics such as strategic planning, return on investment measurement, and presentation training. At the end of the program, each team presents their final plan to the client and a program winner is chosen.

Registration for 2011 is now closed. If you have any questions or if you’d like additional information, please contact Renee Watson at rcw184@gmail.com.
