Chapter Publicity
The Publicity Committee publicizes Chapter
events and awards to public relations professionals and the business
professionals who often enlist PR services. Our efforts have garnered
television coverage of Andy Reid receiving the Leadership award
and articles on the Chapter's annual Pepperpot and Achievement awards
in the Philadelphia Inquirer.
If you have an interest in media relations, give
us a call - we'd love to have you on our team!

Membership
The membership committee works with the board of directors to develop
materials and programs for member candidates. It seeks to maintain
and increase membership while also working to create the most valuable
program and benefit content for the member base. It identifies
prospects, responds to membership inquiries, and advances membership
initiatives. Becoming a part of the membership committee is a great
way to meet people within the industry while also taking part in
one of the organizations most important objectives. Committee members
are needed for 2008.

PR Institute
Successfully conducted for the first time in 2007, the PR Institute
is an annual educational program in which teams of mid-level public
relations professionals from PR agencies, corporations and nonprofit
organizations form “mini PR agencies”. Over a six-week
period, they participate in weekly educational courses on different
aspects of PR plan development and presentation and are put into
a real-life public relations environment and challenged to apply
their best thinking and efforts to develop an integrated communications
plan for a “client” (Toll Brothers was the 2007 client).
Committee members are needed to help in securing a client and
course faculty, making logistical arrangements and promoting the
Institute.
